This Here Space is a community center located in my home, near Ashby BART in South Berkeley. It includes a 500-square foot "playroom" with a sprung dance floor, a nice sound system, an installed video projector, and custom and natural lighting, plus a roomy kitchen, an outdoor patio, a large yard, and more. As someone who has been living with Parkinson's disease for more than 17 years, there is nothing more vital than building and supporting my communities.

This Here Space was created with that mission in mind. It's a place where I and my friends -- like-minded (human) beings who are disabled or not, young or old, etc. -- can explore and practice living as creatively, wholesomely, consciously and gracefully as we can.If you have a notion to do something at This Here Space, I'd love to hear from you.
